ARCHITECT TURNED DESIGNER.
Design is how an idea becomes something you can hold, walk through or hang on a wall: a book, a poster, a menu, a mural, a room, an identity. It’s where a thought stops being a thought and starts taking up space.
I approach it the way I was trained, as an architect: read the context, find the idea, push it further, then further again, until it stands on its own and people notice it, keep it and talk about it.

Every move taught me to read a place before drawing on it. I work in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese, and I feel at home designing for people anywhere.
