I'm Bambou, an architect turned designer and illustrator, based in Mexico City. I create identities, menus, packaging, posters and merch for brands, collectives and people who want their work to feel human.
Every project starts with a pencil and a grid: the drawing gives it life, the architecture keeps it standing. I work in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.

How I work
Brief
We start with a conversation, in person or online, about your business, your audience, your budget and your timeline. I then send a clear proposal with scope, schedule and two rounds of revisions. A 50% deposit confirms the project.
Research
I study your field, your audience and what already exists around you, to find where your brand can stand apart. Inspiration comes from everywhere: art, architecture, nature, objects, the street.
Sketch Sketch Sketch
Every project begins on paper. I explore many directions by hand before moving to the computer. This is where the ideas take shape.
Proposal
I present two directions with the thinking behind each. You pick one, and we refine it together over two rounds of revisions.
Delivery
You receive every file you need for print, web and merch, along with a brand guide so your team can use it consistently. The balance is due on delivery.
